Two Moons I think of a night not long ago. Fresh in my mind the sights move slow. To a point of impact, a moment with sight. A new dawn beginning, a perilous fight. This night I think of, with you in my arms. Full of enchantment and your precious charms. The dark sky was brought light, when you appeared. The cloaked morning moon simmered and seared. The light of two moons, raised into the sky. My heart began trembling, was I about to die? These two moons rose into the heavens that night, millions for miles experience this sight. I was so lucky to hold you that time. The world seemed simple, elegant, divine. A glorious wonder in all of earth’s actuality, two moons instead of one, a cosmic reality. These two moons, stood across from each other, each side of the night, filled with sweet wonder. I sat by you, being raised up above, looking into these moons, I could see only love. These two moons, that had never risen before; they completed up my life, they opened a door. A door to a world, vast and so new. This was the door that lead to you. For these two moons so prominent and so grand. The ground did shake, but was calmed by your hand. I see them now, and cannot tell of lies; these two moons are revealed as your eyes. -Shaun I hope you enjoyed this, and any other poems of mine. If you like them, please E-Mail me with comments!
